1.10.Using module WebPages

After installation, there is no page present. In pWS 0.x.x there was the current homepage with the pWS welcome impress. Time, to create a new page. But what is a page?

In pWS 0.x.x, a page consist of a name and sections. In Fallout, a page may be a subset of pages linkable together. Sections does no more exist. What now is a page? Here in Fallout, I prefer and use the expressions (web)page respectivily (web)page header, and subpages.

Create page header

First, the webpage header has to arise:

Page name

Give a page name and optional a summary description, zu see as documentation in the page list only.

As to see, core module Relate interfares in the page creation. The miniAdmin also appears to give some quick links to associated tasks.

Happened until now was just the creation of a page header. Now it is time, to create single (sub)pages:

Create pages

The just typed (sub)page receives a tab named page1 and we continue to build a 2nd (sub)page:

By the way, to see is the list of available templates to assign to each (sub)page. But there is an option to enforce a template to all (sub)pages of a page(header).

Page list

Follow the link in miniAdmin to show the list of pages (this one is treated as finished).

Page view

Now being curious to see the result by the action link "view":

Front page

To have an effect, this high quality page content becomes declared as frontpage (the page displayed on home):

Page view anonymous

The anonymous view to the site now is:

To make other pages accessible for the public, pages may be linked with MenuManager.
